How It Works

Preparation

Because proper floor preparation is crucial to the success of your floor, we first begin by preparing your concrete surface. We use cutting-edge equipment to profile your concrete, including shot blasters, diamond grinders, and more.

Concrete Reconstruction

If your floor is cracked or damaged, this is where we repair your concrete surface. Many repairs can be done by using cost-effective and fast-acting Penntek menders and fillers.

Basecoat Application

After the surface has been prepped, we use Penntek’s advanced polyurea coating. Compared to traditional epoxy floor coatings, this ultra-durable coating is stronger and more flexible. The base coat is designed to seep into the open pores of the concrete and form deep bonds into the substrate, becoming a permanent part of the floor.

Apply The Chips

Next, we pour on vinyl chips to meet the texture pattern and design you want. All of the materials are 100% UV stable, eliminating the worry of your concrete coating fading or discoloration over time.

Top Coat Preparation

Once the base coat is fully cured, the decorative chips are scraped off and collected, and the floor is vacuumed to remove any loose flakes.

Clear Coat

The final step of the process is to apply a polyaspartic top coat. This final coat locks in the floor, maximizing durability. The clear coat also makes the floor 100%  non-porous, antibacterial, and antimicrobial, as well as resistant to impact, wear, and chemicals.
